An app is added only once it has been used long enough to trust, confirmed as genuine, and checked against its actual publisher. Nothing skips that step to fill out a category faster.
Each page is written out as a plain static file ahead of time, so a picked app opens the same way it was checked, without anything loading in afterward.
An app worth adding can be suggested through the contact form. It gets looked at the same way as everything already on the list, on its own, not on a deadline.
A rebuilt installer, a paid app unlocked without permission, or software carrying a publisher name it does not own is turned away before it is even considered, no exceptions made to fill a gap.
Handpicked APKs is kept by a small group that would rather add three apps a week by hand than three hundred by import, and treats that slowness as the whole method, not a limitation of it.
An entry is reconsidered whenever the app changes, and one that stops being maintained is taken down rather than left standing on an old decision.
Anything can be imported. Not everything can be picked.
